Architecture
UniCore publishes change events → Mirror plugin subscribes → writes to external PostgreSQL. Average replication lag is under 5 seconds for real-time mode.
Installation
Installation
1. Install from **Settings → Plugins**
2. Enter your external PostgreSQL connection string:
`postgresql://user:password@host:5432/database`
3. Test the connection
4. Select tables to mirror
5. Choose sync mode: Real-time CDC or Scheduled (minimum 5-minute interval)
6. Optionally create materialized views for reporting
Network Requirements
Your external PostgreSQL must be reachable from your UniCore instance. If using a firewall, allowlist your UniCore server's IP.
Example: Connecting to Metabase
1. Mirror the CRM contacts and ERP invoices tables
2. In Metabase, add a new PostgreSQL database using the mirror database credentials
3. Build dashboards on top of the mirror data
